A slight balsamic note on the nose, with pepper, spice and blue fruits. Sweet fruit on the palate, with firm tannins, a rich fruit core, and a sense of density as well. The tannins are still integrating into the wine but give structure and tension. A nice freshness comes through on the finish, giving a cooling, slightly menthol note.
