On the nose, herbal notes dominate along with subtle aromas of juicy plums, complemented by sweet hints of vanilla. On the palate, the wine shows a smooth and mature attack with a distinct chocolate flavour and an underlying sweetness, possibly derived from oak ageing. Blond tobacco nuances are also present with an earthy note that comes through after the finish.
