A soft and inviting nose with sweet, ripe red fruits and a raspberry fruit note underneath. The palate is packed full of dusty, sinewy, fine-grained tannins that give structure and weight. The acidity is almost saline, with a red fruit, that comes through like a razor through the fruit — not cutting it out, but just supporting it and giving balance and freshness, with a long, structured finish. Superb.
