An appealing nose, red fruits, spice and baked pear. The palate is ripe and dense with a fresh streak of acidity underneath, fine bubble and a rich mid-palate. Clean and fresh with a citrus twist - baked gooseberry and spice. A layered finish and fascinating example being Carménère!

It was an absolute pleasure to be back in Chile to write the third edition of the Alistair Cooper MW by Catad’Or Wine Guide in April of 2024.
