The nose shows lovely ripe fruit, an earthy, slightly balsamic note — such energy and inviting. A real sense of strength, power and depth on the palate — lovely extraction here with tannins and great balance. This shows a slight saline note, a slight herbal note, and a balsamic fresh streak through the mid-palate. The oak is balanced and integrated, and really adds grip and structure to the mid-palate. A long and fresh finish, super tight and will open over the coming three or four years. Fantastic.
