History
Located in Santa Ana, in the Colchagua Valley, La Sirca is a family project that brings together wine, place and hospitality. Led by sisters Noelle and Michelle Étienne, it is built around a simple idea: rather than being a winery with accommodation, La Sirca aims to be a winery that welcomes guests, inviting them to experience the day-to-day life of the vineyard and winery first-hand.
Winemaking is led by head winemaker Alexander Vera, with guidance from consultant winemaker Marco Puyo, and is focused on precision and a clear expression of origin. La Sirca also operates as a collaborative winery, where independent producers make their wines under one roof, creating a space to share experiences and winemaking practices.
This same philosophy extends to its Vineyard Hospitality concept. Its seven guest units are set within the vineyard, offering an intimate experience of the landscape, the winery and the work behind the wines. Rather than recreating a winery experience for visitors, La Sirca invites them to experience the winery as it is, as part of its everyday life.
Vineyards
La Sirca's vineyards are located in Santa Ana, in the Colchagua Valley, where granitic soils and a wide diurnal temperature range contribute freshness and structure to the wines. Just 40 kilometres from the coast, Pacific breezes moderate summer temperatures and slow the ripening of the grapes, preserving flavour intensity and acidity.
These characteristics are reflected across La Sirca's wines: fresh fruit—citrus and stone fruit in the whites, red and black fruit in the reds—alongside subtle notes of cinnamon and clove, and a mineral character that reflects both terroir and ageing. Wines made for sharing.
