History
They say dreams taste better in a glass. Chile diVino was born from the dream of its founder, winemaker Marcela Chandía, to craft wines that celebrate life, origin, and the soul of their creator. With over two decades of experience making wine in Chile and abroad — including California, South Africa, France, Portugal, and New Zealand — Marcela returned to her homeland with one conviction: Chile is diVino for its diversity, energy, and potential, and she set out to capture that in every bottle.

The Chile diVino collection is made up of joyful, intense, and seductive wines — gastronomic wines designed to be enjoyed, to spark conversation, laughter, and feeling. Each label tells its own story, with a design that reflects the grape variety, the wine’s character, and its creator’s vision: with passion, sensitivity, and the courage to stand out.

True to her philosophy, Marcela has worked for more than a decade with grapes from the same vineyard blocks, embracing consistency and respect for origin. Production is limited to small batches, crafted with artisanal care in every detail — as one does with what one loves.

Chile diVino is an invitation to those who live life with all their senses, to discover wines with soul and character, created by expert and passionate hands.

Vineyards
Chile diVino wines are born in the Almahue Valley, a small yet distinctive corner of the Cachapoal Province in central Chile. Ninety kilometres south of Santiago and sixty-five kilometres from the Pacific Ocean, this valley blends tradition, character, and a deep history rooted in wine.

The Mediterranean climate — with cold winters, warm summers, and cool nights even in the height of the season — allows for a slow ripening of the grapes, enhancing the concentration of aromas, flavours, and natural acidity. The soils, formed by ancient alluvial terraces of the Cachapoal River, encourage deep rooting and lend identity to the fruit.

Almahue is recognised as the birthplace of Carménère in Chile, a variety that here reaches its finest expression: juicy, aromatic, and full of personality. Other red varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Syrah also thrive with excellence.

This setting not only produces wines with structure, elegance, and soul but also invites one to experience wine from within — strolling through the vineyards, speaking with those who craft it, or raising a glass at sunset. Authentic, generous, and rich in history, Almahue proves that when a wine is born of a place with soul, you can tell — and you can feel it.
