History
In 1906, Albano Balduzzi, an Italian passionate about vineyards and wines, embarked on a journey to South America, unaware that he would find a unique and privileged terroir in the Maule Valley for producing great wines. Thus, he continued his family's winemaking tradition, which began in Carezzano, a village in the hills of Piedmont, northern Italy.
Today, the fourth generation leads this family winery, present in more than 30 countries with wines produced sustainably and in harmony with the environment, the community, the staff, and consumers.
Balduzzi wines are known for faithfully representing their origin and terroir. The red varieties come from the dry interior with hot days and cool nights, while the white varieties are located in a vineyard closer to the Andes, where the breezes create a cold microclimate allowing the grapes to ripen slowly.
