This is surprisingly dark in colour. The oak is present on the nose, with a cedar spice and smoke and fig notes as well. Structured and powerful, with tannins that still need to tame as they are oak derived and slightly dominating yet there is great acidity that drives the core and a great pure core of fruit. Attractive but young.
