A powerful nose with dark fruits and sound Reid tomatoes. The palate is powerful, drenched in dark fruit and balsamic notes with a mint note and dried blood sausage. Attractive and rich with a ripe mid palate and always tamed by the acidity from the Carignan. Fresh still for a 2018 and perhaps could still do with a year or two `s our still quite tightly wound!
