A subtle note of reduction on there nose, distinctly earthy and with wild herbs and bay leaf. A powerful and rich palate with a sleekness and really well judged tannins that are soft, succulent and integrated into the palate. The oak is well judged here and never dominates, the fruit is sweet and ripe and there is a round velvety cloak of fruit that is like a silk pillow doused in lavender oil. Youthful and ripe, and really attractive.
