The nose has a spice, red fruits and a savoury note as well. The palate has a sandalwood note and lovely savoury character with herbs, a slight bacon fat character as well. Dried herbs, character and firm tannins and red fruits, rosehip and the slight volcanic smoke as well. I really enjoy Pinots from this part of Chile, and this is no exception. Slight drying note on the finish, iodine and ferruginous notes.
