Very fresh nose with crushed stone, fresh chalk, crushed raspberry (but very subtle). The palate is marked by a freshness of fruit, then comes the chalky mid palate with powdery tannins and such bright acidity, a herbal note appears towards the back of the palate but again it is subtle, the whole bunch (50%) adds that slight grip and is very well judged. The finish is marked by light red cherry note and that salinity that just expresses the unique terroir of Huasco.
