A wild nose, with dark fruits, liquorice, tobacco, and balsamic notes. The palate is linear, tight, and nervous with balsamic acidity, rounded tannins, and a nice spiced note underneath – appealing and inviting. Needs time to open up but is driven by real vibrancy and vitality, with a hit of black pepper on the finish.
