History
Viñedos Puertas is a family business founded in Curicó, Chile, in 1950 by Mr. José Puertas Pons. Over the years, it has established itself as one of the most significant wine producers in the central region of the country.

Today, the third generation of the family continues the winemaking legacy, producing quality wines that are appreciated in various parts of the world, from America to Europe and Asia. Viñedos Puertas wines have received recognition in important international competitions and have earned a prominent place thanks to their excellent quality-price ratio.

Vineyards
All the vineyards are located in the Curicó Valley.

Chile Chico, Palquibudis, Rauco Commune
Location: 35º 00' 50" S, 71º 32' 07" W, 359 m a.s.l.
Soils are loamy-clay-silty and sandy on slopes, with the top 20 cm being soil, and facing south (Mataquito River). There are quillayes among the vines, good levels of organic matter, slightly acidic pH, and 90 hectares of native forest. Correction is carried out every 3-4 years. The climate is temperate with temperature variations between day and night, and there is a hill with forest on the north slope. Planted varieties: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Chardonnay, Lachryma Christi, Malbec, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Syrah.

El Milagro, Convento Viejo, Comuna de Curicó
Location: 34º 58' 48" S, 71º 16' 42" W, 194 m a.s.l.
Flat soils of loamy clay type with deep sand, irrigated with water from the Teno River, coming from the Andes Mountains. Acidic pH. Temperate climate, east-west orientation. Planted varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, and Sauvignon Blanc.

La Finca, Comuna de Romeral
Location: 34º 56' 42" S, 71º 10' 43" W, 256 m a.s.l.
Flat soil of loamy-sandy type, irrigated with water from the Teno River, coming from the Andes Mountains. The soil has rapid percolation. Temperate climate, east-west orientation. Planted varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon.
