History
Nestled in the heart of the Aconcagua Valley, in the commune of Catemu, Viña Casa Padic was born as a family project aimed at reviving the value of origin, memory and togetherness through wine. More than a winery, Casa Padic is a boutique proposal that blends tradition, design, hospitality and storytelling in a space rich with meaning.

With 7.5 hectares under vine and five noble varieties —Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Syrah—, Casa Padic focuses on small-scale, signature wine production, overseeing every stage from vineyard to bottle. This human scale not only ensures quality but also allows each creation to carry a distinct character and identity.

At the heart of the project stands a century-old manor house, now in ruins, set to be restored and transformed into a space for hospitality, culture and wine tasting. A place where visitors can not only enjoy the wines but also experience authentic moments, surrounded by heritage gardens, historic architecture and views that connect them to the land.

Casa Padic plans to export much of its production, targeting select markets through partnerships with hotels, embassies and gastronomic venues that value exclusivity and authenticity. At the same time, it will reserve the best of its experience for those who visit the winery, fostering a direct and personal relationship with its customers through bespoke sales and a digital presence.

Inspired by its surroundings, by the history of those who drive it forward and by a vision for a sustainable future, Viña Casa Padic invites wine lovers to experience wine as something intimate, emotional and deeply rooted.

Vineyards
Located in the commune of Catemu, province of San Felipe de Aconcagua, in the Valparaíso Region, the vineyards of Viña Casa Padic lie in the heart of central Chile, 85 kilometres from Santiago and 95 kilometres from the port of Valparaíso. The landscape combines transverse mountain ranges and the coastal range, with a Mediterranean climate characterised by cold winters — with temperatures dropping to -2 °C — and warm summers that exceed 30 °C. Average annual rainfall is around 340 mm, and, together with the influence of the Aconcagua and La Ligua river basins, creates favourable conditions for viticulture.

The clay-loam soils promote balanced vine growth, while the area’s significant diurnal temperature variation encourages slow ripening and the concentration of aromas and flavours. These characteristics make Catemu a territory of great yet still largely untapped viticultural potential. Planted varieties include Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
