History
In 2021, Ana María Cumsille embarked on a winemaking project with a clear goal: to create wines that capture and reflect the essence of the Itata Valley. This initiative not only aims to highlight the unique terroir of the region but also its rich history, tradition, and the immense potential of its vineyards.
With a strong commitment to local small producers, Ana María sources her grapes from these viticulturists, acknowledging their fundamental role in realising this oenological dream.
Ana María Cumsille's wines are characterised by minimal intervention in the winemaking process. Some of them are made in old earthenware jars from the area, avoiding the use of wood, so as to faithfully represent their origin and the unique characteristics of the Itata Valley.
Vineyards
They do not own vineyards; the grapes are purchased from the areas of Ránquil, Guarilihue, and Trehuaco.
